So some talk has been going around about a co-op between the Stones and the White Stripes. Turns out that Jack White and Keith Richards have been friends for a while, but it wasn’t till recently that the two of them got into the studio together and recorded some songs.

Ok, so maybe its more like a co-op between Richards and White, but hey, that ain’t bad either.  And ok, maybe its not work they did for an album and they were just goofing around, but that ain’t bad either.

Richards said that they hadn’t planned on releasing any of that material, but if it ever came up, he would be up for it.  Who knows, maybe this could lead to something like we saw in ’79 with the New Barbarians, but without the riots.
