Joe Perry and Steven Tyler honored Johnny Depp with a Generation award at last nights MTV Movie awards.  And because simply accepting an award is too easy, Depp took the stage with the Black keys for a short set, because why the hell not?

Johnny has been seen swinging an ax a lot more recently. I guess he is finally living his dream that he got a glimpse of in the 1991 Tom Petty “Into the Great Wide Open” video.
