Well, 2 weeks later, the Rock & Hops festival is over. We put on this event to celebrate the bold kick-you-in-the-teeth flavor of IPAs. (India Pale Ale)
Kicking the event off on Tuesday the 11th we tapped a cask of local favorite, Strand Brewing, Atticus. Turns out people love great beer, Turns out people love local great beer. Turns out people love the freshest and most authentic local great beer. And that’s exactly what the Atticus cask was. And it was gone in only 2 hours. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, we hope you enjoyed it.
We also featured a Pint Night of favorite Deadlift and had our super special tapping that we still won’t tell you what it was, you’ll have to look at our old tweets and Facebook posts. And if you missed out on this one, remember to friend us so you can stay in the loop.
Other IPAs we had all week on our outdoor patio included Ruination, Mongo, Hop Salad, Knuckle Sandwich, Just Outstanding, Soco, Yakima Twilight, Alesmith IPA, Hop Sauce, Hercules, Hop-15, Wipeout, West Coast IPA, and, my favorite, Raging Bitch. Those are the ones that we can remember, there were plenty more by lots of great breweries.
This event was so successful, we plan on doing another! You’ll be seeing more info on our next event coming soon.
